I was invited early on before construction to design this homes garden. The result is a cohesive inside outside space with garden water features, planted grass roof and other constructed elements that join seamlessly with the homes architecture and its calm interiors. A beautiful Leopard bronze sculpture had been commissioned by my client with the garden evolving around into what you see today. In the beginning the site was completely devoid of trees. Huge tree Aloes and other mature trees were planted by crane into the completely barren landscape, creating carefully curated garden views from inside the homes double volume glass windows. The whole house opens up onto private planted courtyards that bring the garden inside.
